Tungsten carbide UDLW-850A sandblasting nozzle.
Tungsten carbide UDLW-850A blast cleaning nozzles are supplied with an armored aluminum jacket to provide protection against ricochet or other damage. UDLW-850A has a venturi liner with a 1/2″ bore which should provide approx. 100 psi of pressure from approx. 338 CFM of supplied air, depending on abrasive, system condition and other environmental factors. This tough nozzle has an 1-1/4″ entry to work efficiently with larger hose I.D.s.
This tough nozzle is fitted with contractor threads (coarse threads) for easy installation and removal from nozzle holders.
Designed for use in harsh working conditions where plastic jackets might not offer enough protection against impact or ricochet wear.
Designed for close up blast cleaning these quality sandblasting nozzles are an excellent choice. Venturi design gives accelerates abrasive stream giving a higher impact speed and faster surface cleaning, both of which can lead to more system productivity.
Working with aluminum oxide abrasive then take a look at Everblast’s EVBC-8W/50, boron carbide nozzles. Boron carbide lasts longer than tungsten carbide, especially when using media like aluminum oxide.
