Boron Carbide EVBC-6 sandblasting nozzle.

Boron carbide EVBC-6  ABRASIVE BLAST CLEANING NOZZLE,  HAS A 3/8″ BORE. IT INCLUDES A WEAR RESISTANT, BORON CARBIDE LINER,  EZ GRIP ARMORED JACKET & FINE 1-1/4″ NPSM BRASS THREADS. THIS QUALITY  ABRASIVE BLAST CLEANING NOZZLE CAN BE USED WITH A WIDE RANGE OF ABRASIVES INCLUDING ALUMINUM OXIDE. SHOWS LONGER LIFE WHEN COMPARED TO A TUNGSTEN CARBIDE OR SILICON NOZZLE OF SAME BORE. PROS & CONS:

This nozzle offers longer wear resistance with aggressive media like aluminum oxide.  Suggested use:  Use instead of tungsten carbide nozzles,  when blast cleaning with aluminum oxide or similar aggressive media. Trade off  is higher cost and a more brittle liner material than tungsten carbide.  The higher cost can be offset through longer work life than an equivalent nozzle with a tungsten carbide or silicon liner. As with all nozzles inspect nozzle liner each time before use. If liner shows cracks or any damage, replace immediately with a new nozzle.
